Vegan Superbroth Spicy Shiitake Pho

Check out this super simple, hot dish that we whipped up with a few fresh ingredients and just twenty minutes of time, to start warming up with the benefits of broth — 


Sol Ghee Superbroth Shiitake Pho - serves 4 

5 heaping TBSP of Sol Ghee Super Broth powder

8 cups filtered water

6 green onion - sliced

1 TBSP peeled, grated ginger 

1 tsp Sol Ghee Coconut Oil blend ** for vegan version simply use coconut oil 

1 cup shiitake mushrooms, stems removed and sliced

1 1/2 TBSP hoisin sauce 

1 TBSP Braggs Amino Acids ** for non GF/vegan option use soy sauce 

2 tsp sesame oil 

1/2 package vermicelli rice noodles 

2 cups of bean sprouts 

1 whole red chilli - sliced

salt & pepper to taste

Garnish with : basil, parsley, cilantro or fresh herbs of your choice & a lime wedge 


Directions 

1. Bring the filtered water and Superbroth powder to a boil, whisking until smooth

2. Add in 3/4 the sliced green onion, ginger, Bragg’s Amino acids, 1 tsp sesame oil & 1 tsp hoisin sauce, stir and reduce to a simmer for 10-12 minutes

3. While the broth is boiling, add 1 tsp of Sol Ghee Coconut Oil blend to a pan at medium low heat and sauté until tender

4. Once broth has simmered, add in rice noodles for 2 minutes until cooked thru

5. Divide broth and noodles into serving bowls 

Add in mushrooms, bean sprouts, salt & pepper


Garnish with your favourite herbs, fresh chilli slices and a slice of lime & ENJOY!
